Xylella fastidiosa

Description :

Xylella fastidiosa is a xylem bacteria, mainly transmitted by insect vectors, that can infect more than 500 species of plant. It is a regulated disease present in France since 2015.

Symptoms :

Leaf burns
Generalised shrivelling of the plant
Foliar chlorosis
Lack of lignification (hardening)
Leaves turning yellow or red

Testing must be carried out in the event of any suspicion of disease. However, the disease can often be asymptomatic.
